Which one is better? Is it comfortable to insert phone in USB slot? Doesn't it break after some time? Have you ever seen 3-pin dock with spare battery charger?
This one seems to be very cool, you can easily insert your phone in it.
Personally i love the 3 pin dock and havent looked at another charger since, Ive also noticed that the 3 pin dock charges the phone faster. Not say that usb dock is bad ive owned them b4 its just that i would worry about breaking the usb pin when i reach for my phone in the morning.
I would prefer the first one (the original N1 dock) over the 2nd one. It looks much nicer and you can hook it up to your stereo and play music from it.
I doubt it would break it you are careful with it, just don't yank real hard on it.
I really don't care about music. Dock is usually near PC and PC has more music than phone. But I do care about spare battery and will buy either dock with battery charger or 3-pin dock and separate battery charger. Price is not a concern. Now I want to find out is 3-pin dock worth buying separate battery charger or now.
When you put phone in USB dock, do you need to "aim" to the USB port or it's easy to put it here "even with closed eyes"
I use 2 official N1 docks (1 at work, 1 at home) and suspect I would be lost without them. I find 2 docks + car charger removes any need for a spare battery.
Before the N1 I had an HTC magic which I used with the HTC usb dock - it was much more awkward to seat correctly and I always feared snapping the USB connector off when removing the phone.
Does anyone else have issues with getting the phone seated properly in the dock? I usually have to set it in the dock, and then push in on the bottom of the phone. Not a big issue at all, but can be annoying at times.
