3 way call/flash call

Is there a way to go back to the first call if an attempt to create a three-way conference call failed (eg, the second call goes to voicemail)?

It looks like I have to wait for the second call's voicemail to hangup before I get pushed back onto the first call.

With my blackberry 8530:rock: (on metropcs) I could simply press flash twice and go back to the first call.

I'm having this same problem it's very disturbing , I can't drop or get off of the second call... there's no swap/flash/hold buttons for the LG Motion MS770 three way conference calling.... it's the most extremely annoying factor... I can't imagine that any developer would make a phone with 3 way calling and leave this option out.... whoever made this phone and/or it's software screwed up big time with this feature.
