Help $30 Plan for the GNEX?

How does it work? I'm talking about the T-Mobile plan. Would it be better if I tried this method, or just got a prepaid phone like the HTC Evo V or something? If you could redirect me to a tutorial that would be nice!

I don't have a tutorial but basically you just buy the unlocked galaxy nexus from the Play store, then buy the SIM from t-mobile and activate it and put it in the the phone. It shouldn't be too hard

Read this and the other stuff about PrePaid and VoIP on XDA, I don't even use any of that stuff but thought it was an interesting read.
