Help 30 sec lockout pattern timer

kind of a weird question but after the 1.6 ota I noticed that when I input the wrong unlock pattern I encounter a 30 second lockout time. From what I've read, its normally after five wrong attempts that the 30 second lockout time usually happens but i get after every single wrong attempt. I was wondering if I was the only one to come across this and how i can fix it.

I encounter this issue every once in a while. Haven't figured out a consistent way to make it happen...
