3037 prl lg motion

Lurker
I updated my prl after being away from my motion for a few weeks. In the past, I ran 3g because it was consistent in my area. In anycase, this doesn't seem to hold true anymore? So far, on 3037 (Near Orlando), I get consistent 4g, and no evdo signal when I switch in the hidden menu. T-mobile merger after affect?

Build out - more 4G available, and it's now on the PRL. Is this a complaint, or are you bragging? :)

Yes. I was off about 4g though. I just didn't use my allotted data since I previously had it set to evdo. I still have no 3g if I switch manually? I'm now questioning whether or not reverting to a previous prl might help? Otherwise, it feels like I'm being forced to get the $60 plan.

Not being forced to do anything but in the beginning of 2014 they're halfing the amount of spectrum used for CDMA. Guess they're cutting EvDo to accomplish that then

I didn't want to believe it would happen this quickly. But, it has. Gone are the days of raping a good evdo connection. Sure, you can spend $40_50. Once the 4g runs out, you may as well go take a shit while updating to the $60 plan. Good service to that end, don't get me wrong. Just misleading.
