Root .

hey I need a little help I'm stuck on the cmd part.... it wont find cd C:\OptimusRoot\android-sdk_r10-windows\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools

i can't get the cdma workshop to work even with antivirus shut off keeps popping up "error while loading target or timeout problem! control main file and retry"

I am stuck on su, cannot get the $ to go away, have restarted phone a couple of times already...should I see superuser under apps?, maybe its not installed correctly

i am putting in the adb shell thing and it says error device not found then when i put su in it says su is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

YYYYAAAAAAAYY Im rooted. yes yes yes. I know Im not only one who did a 10 second "hell yeah" dance after I got it. thanx for the "dumming down" on this tutorial

But heres a word of warning to people that are gonna try this, I was ready to give up and get a new phone cause I thought I bricked it cause nothing was working however....

Understand you cannot be a slave to the wording of the file locations when you type the prompts. for example where it says type "adb push C:\OptimusRoot\MS690ZV4-root\su /data/local/tmp/" it took me a minute (more like 2 hours) to realize i should take the ms690zv4-root part out because C:\OptimusRoot\su /data/local/tmp/ is the actual location of the su file on my pc and voila it went through

Or another exmple was I took "android-sdk_r10-windows" out of "cd C:\OptimusRoot\android-sdk_r10-windows\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools" beacuse thats the actual path of that file.

And dont forget if its caps int he file name it needs to be caps in the prompts

Once I figured that part out it was smooth sailing, AGAIN KUDOS TO BLAXICAN25

@starstress I had the same problem when I went through this process. Luckily I saw that right away. I get the organization Idea here, It's just that these path names are way too long to be putting into command lines.
c:\opt\sdk10\sdk\pt\tools would suffice and people would have less problems.
It's much easier/faster to change these directory names in windows be fore you start the adb stuff

That and in LGNPST it never tells you to select the check box for Nam2, though it shows it in the pic.

before you unzip LG-LGNPST12 you should have your virus protection off so that it does not pick up the crack that should be under cdma workshop, so you can turn off your virus protection re-unzip LG-LGNPST12 and copy the crack and paste it in the LG-LGNPST12 cdmaworkshop folder.
