Help 32g sd from bolt to razr ok?

Any reason I can't simply take my 32g sd card from the HTC Bolt and put it in the Moto Razr? Or should I transfer data (music, pics, docs, etc) to computer and do a refresh on the sd card in the Razr and transere data back? Thanks.

I took the 32gb card from my Droid X and put it right in the RAZR. The only thing you may want to do (though not necessary from what I can tell) is delete any program files you have on there because they will be recreated when you install that app on the RAZR.

Going from Motorola to Motorola might be different, though. I'm able to see all pictures from my Droid X (as well as new ones from RAZR) in the gallery on the new phone. However, if HTC doesn't use a "dcim" folder to house the pictures, this would be different.

It shouldn't make a difference... I've moved micro SD cards between several different smartphones without any issues.

I did exactly this from my Thunderbolt with no trouble.

Moved mine from my Tbolt. No problems

Not sure what I did (or didn't do)... but I lost a few folders. Also all my pics, which were in folders on the bolt are now in one folder on the razr and titles each pic's file name is just a series of numbers.

OK... so now I see, in Astro, that I have a folder mnt/sdcard and another folder mnt/sdcard-ext! The ext being where my bolt folders have been hiding.
