32GB micro SD

Has anyone hear a release date on the 32gb micro sd... It's killing me not to know... Please let me know if anyone hears something.

I haven't heard anything, but there has been word of San Disk releasing one for about 5 months now. I'd bet they'll be releasing it at the start of the holiday season for some $149 or so...

Does the Hero require a MicroSD or SDHC card?

Some websites say MicroSD some say SDHC...

It's not required but you do need it if you want to save pictures and video you take with the phone..... you also need it if you want to save music. But it is not required to operate the phone.

Hi sorry you misinterpretedmy question. I am aware what the card is used for...

Just made a mistake..the phone requires a micro sdhc card and not a sdhc card ...

Man..the N97 had 32GB..was the only good thing about the phone.. having less than 32GB makes me sad...

The Hero uses MicroSD. The mentions of SDHC are referring to the SDHC standard, used by both SDHC cards and MicroSD cards over 2-4GB. A regular SD card will not fit. It only accepts MicroSD.

The holiday season release is just my assumption. The price could be anywhere from $129 to $200.
