3g 1g white or blue what?

alright ive noticed 3g and 1g signal in the upper right it either blue or white. why do they change color? also getn sick of signal goin from 3g to no signal in and out in and out and im not even moving. maybe need software update.

Blue means they are connected and you have data. White means you have phone calls only.

The only time mine go white is when switching connection types while everything powers up and reconnects.

Have you always had signal issues or ever?

It should read "1x" not 1G. Although I live where signal is adequate so I've only seen 3G (intentionally) and 4G. My Incredible would switch to 1x when I sent a sms. Then back to 3G or WIFI which ever I was on at the time.

As far as the blue and white. When it is blue it is actively connected to Googles server/sync/contacts/gmail/calender/market/etc.... White it is not.

Blue = conencted. Try turning on and off wifi and you will see how wifi and 4G swap connection states.

i meant 1x not 1g. I dont know maybe signal in my area sucks ass. No 4g in my area yet. I have it at work though. Anyway around home my phone is constantly cycling between 1x and 3g white and blue all day. doesnt matter if im sitting in one spot or not. it really sucks.
