Root 3g/data boost?

hello...well after playing with the cm 10.x rom but having to reject it for missing features and going back the Awesome rom (thxs Shin!), im noticing that the 3g data is significantly slower or choppy...whatever it just isnt working as well.

ive noticed apps in the play store that supposedly "fix" 3g issues...does anyone here have any good experience with any of these? or any other ways to improve the sorta crappy Boost 3g experience?

yes agreed but it was working way better with the CM 10 rom...streams were playing without interruption and Chrome was pretty usable tbh.
 
Look into the Data throttling thread. Follow instructions EXACTLY. It works on Awesome Android for sure as well as stock. Don't forget to take screenshots or write down info before changing ANYTHING. And hit menu-save after each adjustment or the changes won't stick :cool::beer::D

The 3g is probably not the culprit for choppy videos on stock based roms. If you want to know for sure whether it is your internet or just crappy software chopping up your videos you could do a speed test on both stock and cm.
