Well, assuming that your bill is paid, long press on your power button, then when the menu pops up, make sure that Data Network Mode says activated. If not, press it to activate it. Otherwise, I have no idea.

I haven't had this issue but out of curiosity I tried doing this. Strangely enough it turned out to be in the disabled state--is this setting in reference to 3G only? Normally I have 4G enabled.

I think it is for 3g only. I believe that 4g and Wi-Fi are both run separately.
