3G HSDPA Information.

Hello, there are different versions of Android phones, among them are those who are American version and European version. I'll buy an USED android phone, the phone is T-Mobile, is blocked, but I want to know how I can know what version of 3G (HSDPA) support the phone??

What is the secret code to know or check the HSDPA version of my phone that supports?

P.D.: In my country (Peru) 3G Network only works with HSDPA 850

Thanks in advance.

You need to check the specs listed for the phone to check it matches, there is no way to check on the phone itself. If your going to buy second hand off ebay for example and you buy from America, then phones on the AT&T network use 850Mhz HSPA frequency, which means if you buy the phone, unlock it, then it will work for you.

have a look at HTC Aria - Black (AT&T) Smartphone | eBay and look at the specs, under network features, there you will see what frequencies it works on. You do have to be careful because sometimes there will be phones with the same model number that operate on different frequencies so you need to check carefully each time.

T-mobile does not operate on 85mhz HSPA (they use 1700 and 2100mhz) do not confuse GSM 850 with HSPA/UMTS 850 they are not the same thing and will not work together.
