3G in Georgetown, IN

Can someone tell me why Georgetown, IN has 3G for T-mobile (but not AT&T), yet Louisville, KY, about 31 miles away, doesn't?

I was visiting my friend's home, under construction in Georgetown and was shocked to see 3G on my G1 phone. Ironically, my pal has an iPhone, and he was quite upset AT&T doesn't have 3G in Georgetown.

Anyone have any idea on what gives? What is so special about Georgetown that they get 3G over Louisville?

Dont you think that would be a question for your Carrier and not for the 1000's of people that don't even know where Louisville, or Georgetown are !!
