3g internet problem

Hey guys
I've recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Gio, and I have a big problem with the 3g net...

I have it active, and the little 3g or H sign with the arrows is showing on the top of the homepage, but whenever I go to a browser or to google play or anything that uses the internet, I can't access it

What's wrong?

Is it telling you anything when that happens? Can you enter stuff on your calendar via the PC and see it appear on the Gio calendar? Are you doing all this on the stock browser? If so, try a different one, although I’m not sure how you’ll download it.
