3g is gone from my phone

A few days ago I had the 3g on my phone but when I added new minutes to my phone, it suddenly was gone. I've gone to the network settings on my phone but there is nothing there about 3g. I don't know how to get it back. Can anyone help me please?

Hey, I don't know if this will help, but have you tried pulling down the notifications bar at the top of the screen, and make sure that the "data switch" option is activated? This function turns off/on the 3g apparently, while still allowing wifi to be active or not.
