Help 3G Network SpeedTest Results

Hi all, Whilst sitting in my home, with full bars for reception on my Galaxy S, I ran a SpeedTest on it. The icon on the 'phone displays a 3G symbol. Results: Download: 384kB Upload: 482kB Provider: Tele2/Amsterdam,NL. 3G is really exceeding exceptions. This is on a 2Gb download data plan. Great (Feel the sarcasm ) Is this to be expected? Regards.

Speed depends on both your telecom provider's service and signal strength. If you'r operator has a crappy internet service, then doesn't matter how good your signal strength is.

Download 762kbps. Upload 942kbps. Carrier 3 UK.

I can see the 3 cell mast from my front window, about 100 metres away. Tested on a Sunday morning, so things are probably not too busy. On weekdays bandwidth is much less.
