Help 3g not green

i restarted my phone to default a the other night and since then the 3G bar hasn't been green and thats an issue for me i can still use 3G to some extent. but when ever i try to tweet i cant the tweet button doesn't appear please help.

which version of the play do you have? if you have the verizon and you recently updated to the 2.3.4 firmware, the 3g and wifi symbols are no longer green, they're grey.
