what baseband are we suppose to be on, i'm on 2030.
can you go over reflash the ICS baseband more detailed, i just use the stock ICS thread, followed the first two procedures

Install from zip: ICS-Baseband-B952.

Install from zip: "3G-Modem-LA" or "3G-Modem-AU" to restore 3G Networks.

i'm still on 2G, the directions for copying the images was easy, but i don't know where i went wrong.

I forgot to back up he IMEI the first time I installed the jellybean and I losty my 3G service
I followed the instructions and i still don't ave 3G. Do I need to try it again or reinstall the jellybean 10.1

The 3g has nothing to do with your number.

Are you having trouble making calls? If do that's a baseband issue.
To verify, go to settings/about phone/baseband version if it says unknown, you forgot to flash the ics baseband. Doing so will fix your issue.

If it is something other than that let me know.

*#06# just brings up the imei that the phone is registering; what is it saying now?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I'd forgotten to subscribe to this topic, so my phone didn't alert me that you'd replied. Should be good now. :D

I'm glad you got it fixed. :D

If you have any questions in the future, feel free to send me a private message. (it notifies me about those faster)

Congrats!

Hello ZeRoseDev,

when I read about this issue, I wonder if it's possible to unpack, edit and apply modified 5irom-img-files to my U8860, to bring back my serial number. It has been lost after flashing with the effect of continously changing MAC-address of my wifi. This is a big problem for connecting wlan@work - they using a MAC-access-controll...
Do you have any advice for me?
Thank you for reading...

It is my understanding that you can go back to stock, restoring your imei and 3G to factory.

You will have to root again, not sure about cwm. Make sure to backup your 3g and imei before flashing the ics baseband, or you'll be back in the same boat.

I've not tested it but the person who posted the guide is reliable.

Sorry for the late reply, classes have been hectic.

Hello ZeRoseDev,

thank you for your reply - never mind the delay, we are all volenteers. ;-)
My problem is the lost serial number - I didn't save the IMEI and the serial
number BEFORE flashing my device. My hope was to find a way to bring
the serial number into the backup-files of 5irom-tool.
Meanwhile I found another way to bring back the serial number into the device (by patching the boot.img of a KitKat-ROM).
Thank you - anyway...

I did the imei backup before flashing cm11 with 3g working... flashed cm11... restored imei and restarted... still no 3g... what could be the issue??? is it cm11? maybe if i used 10.2 or something like that?
