Where are some good place used often to download apps/games other then market

I've used HelloAndroid.com a few times. Usually the individual developers provide an APK download for their apps on their sites also.

Most free apps can be found on the developer websites, or often posted to a few different android forums. If you are looking for alternatives to get paid apps for free other than the Market, we don't do that here.
