I'm using a 3rd party app that installs and runs fine on my original Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi only. But on a brand new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 WiFi only, after installing the app, it reports that "an internet connection does not appear to be active". However, the Internet connection is working as I can open up the browser and go to several sites.
I've contacted the software developer who said that they have run their app on a Motorola Razr with Android 4.0 and it works fine.
Is there anything unique about network connections and 3rd party apps with the Tab 2? Thanks.
