4.0.4 - Stock browser status bar problem

The stock browser used to have a feature that if you were scrolled down a web page a quick swipe down would cause the status bar/address bar to reappear, enabling you to easily type in a new address or go to a bookmark etc. Having just upgraded to 4.0.4 this feature has disappeared and I now have to scroll all the way up to the top of the page to access the status bar.

Anyone else have this issue?

stock browser is no good. i stopped using it for a long time now and using dolphin browser HD, much faster and no bugs. (also using 4.0.4)

Thanks, I have checked out some other browsers but actually I quite like the stock browser. At the moment I'd just like to know whether anyone else has the above issue after upgrading to 4.0.4

I confess that I'm using dolphin too but I just tried the stock browser to try this out for you but can't get it to display the address bar by swiping down either.. so I too have to scroll to the top of the screen to access it if this answers your question.

Regards

Neil.

Thanks Neil, looks like this feature is gone then.
