Help 4.1.2 keis update help

Im trying to do the update on a voda s3 and it appears to keep getting stuck on downloading firmware upgrade components @ 99%?
should this take a long time at this point as the first 99% flew by, im on my second time now at least 10 mins on 99%..

I had same problem with 4.1.1 on my pc so tried the wife's laptop and it worked fine

wonder whats occuring then be good to find out - had to go to sammobile and get the full rom tut hrs download now 900 odd meg on a slow free download speed id presume that kies would have done a small update rather than this..

Yeah the OTA would be 2-300 MB probably

any idea why its sticking at 99% of the download?

also which is best for stability full rom or the update?

There as been a upgrade to Kies which may help. Also after I upgraded Kies it showed my phone as a Galaxy S. A reboot of both phone and laptop got things back to normal and the 4.1.2 update went ok taking about 15 minutes

installed the rom anyways now worth it tho deff better than 4.1.1 and miles ahead now of ics 2 smalls make a mediocre 1 she said with a smile on her face...
