4.1.2?

I still don't have the OTA so am attempting to manually upload.
Tablet is stock, not even rooted. USB debug is switched on.
I started following the AndroidPolice route but the bootloader bugs prevent me from getting in to recovery mode.
If I attempt to get into recovery without being plugged in to my laptop via USB I can get it and select recovery, but it just hangs with "Google" on screen.
If I plug in to the laptop via USB I can't use vol up/down to select recovery mode in the first place, all I can do is reboot.

If I boot the tablet and plug in to my laptop I can see it in windows explorer, but if I try "adb devices" it doesn't show any devices as being attached.

I've tried the bodge where you clear the framework data/cache, that doesn't work either.

Thanks

The data cache wipe actually worked for me!

Success!

Clearing Framework data just worked for me. Thanks for the tip. :)

I used this method as well, although it took a bunch of attempts. Tried several times throughout yesterday and never worked; I gave up. I tried it again tonight and first attempt worked.

Just got ota update. Spent a couple minutes googling the changes - I the only thing discussed or written about is the home screen landscape.
What other changes have been noted or discussed? Anything really neat?

My N7 delivered a week ago from Newegg. I was not aware of the update but got it this AM.
Sweet, the portrait home bugged me.

I wonder if they do it by area, my friend that lives down the road from me in Brighton got his 7 a week before me. He from Google me from a local store. Both our 7's updated OTA two days ago at the same time.

Got the update yesterday evening OTA without having to do anything :0)

Seems good so far, I like the landscape implementation, saves me using apex launcher, I like to keep my devices 3rd party launcher free if possible as they generally seem to behave better when stock.
