Root 4.2.2 Crazy Battery Drain?

Newbie
Hello all, long time-no-see ;) hope life is well.

So I have gratefully played around with most of the roms our local Fusion2(org) hero's have generously delivered to us. I am very laid back about little quirks here and there, since overall these roms blow away stock and for free? cmon :D

I have to finally admit though that Slim is just right for me. I was completely happy with life on Slim 4.1.2 and so I just hadda try out 4.2.2 right? Now I'm hooked on some new toys that came with it, but the battery drain is nutz! At times it's as bad as 1% per minute :( But I love it so much that I just keep it on a charger tons.

Anyone else? Googling "4.2.2 battery" gives me re-assurance that I am not alone, but I was curious as it pertains to our Fusion2 sub-group.

ps: same prob with cm10.1 - i just love slim

Nope, not here. I made mine last 24 hours and 30 minutes the other day with 13% to spare before I plugged it into a charger.

Jess you just have the magic touch ;)

We should be sending our fones to you for your blessing.

Thanks for saying hey though, I miss the amount of chatter going on at .org :( Oh well, I went back to Slim 4.1.2 and got my battery life back but miss those extras that came with 4.2.2. I guess they aren't worth much if my fone is always dead though right?

cheers :)

Me too. And I REALLY want a new nightly of 10.1. :(

But yeah, hahaha. That is true. Should have looked under battery and see if something was eating it. Just saw an app on mine that was actually. Had to give it the boot.

I turned off the WiFi and really extended the battery life.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I threw in the towel and went back to slim 4.1.2 and things are groovy again. It keeps nagging at me though, I quit kinda early :( I think I might go back and really document the drain with BBS and WakelockDetector. Maybe I can Greenify the culprits if exposed.
Cameron, after I google what a build host is and then study the result I might be able to figure out what your code-wizard brain is telling me and contribute something intelligent to our convo. ;)
