Help 4.2.2!?!?!

I just got my Xperia Z last week and out of the box it is running 4.1.2. I looked around and Sony's website says the most current is 4.2.2. My phone, however, says that it's up to date and the Sony Companion does also...? I don't understand and i'd really like to have the 4.2.2 update so i can use my 64GB SD card. Any ideas?

Check over at xda. T-mobile has no update in the near future. They're probably waiting until 4.3. I updated mines with a generic rom from Spain to 4.2.2. I honestly see no real difference in regards to what I use my phone for. Plus you don't need 4.2.2 to use a 64GB memory card. I've got one and I just formatted it in the phone and it works perfectly fine. Been using it since I had the HTC Evo V with Virgin Mobile.

Well i just found the 4.2.2 thing on XDA. If this doesn't work out then i'm gonna have to wait. Thank you for the info about he 64 card. That's why i was so worried about this update as i just ordered a 64 gb sd. Thank you for your help.
