4.2 Update Quadrant Test

This was before the update. I need to run some tests later today. These were taken running CleanROM and one of the TF700 kernels. I also had my DPI set to 213, hence the centered tab location at the bottom.

These show what this tablet is capable of when rooted and running a custom ROM with a custom kernel. I do not run this kernel all the time because it does not allow for the front facing camera to work. I run the Unter TF300T kernel which overclocks to 1.6ghz as my everyday kernel. All functions including the dock functions work perfectly with it.

Quadrant scores are pretty much the same for me after the update. Hovering between 3200 and 3500. Mine is not rooted.

Has anyone else noticed the lag with the update though? Doesn't seem quite as smooth as before.

Yup it is my tf300t from your expression I wont push to make it any faster :)

Yeah. I would say you're pushing it. That's a high score. Also, I only run at the higher speeds for benchmarks only. I would not recommend running anything over 1.6ghz for long periods of time. Not only will it eat up your battery, it could also cause irreversible damage to you tablet. ;)

As far as games, emulators and other apps, I see no difference in performance in spite of improved benchmarks. The key bottleneck of the Tegra series is the memory channel design. No software update can fix that.
