4.3 phone icon not theming...

Running android 4.3, tried various roms (AOSP, CM10.1.3, Liquidsmooth 4.3) and I'm having the annoying glitch that the phone app icon will not theme. Whatever icon theme I use, there is the phone icon in its annoying blue original stock android form.

Anyone else had this issue or know how it can be solved? It's small, but annoying. Like a mosquito.

What launcher do you use? Have you tried long-pressing that icon, hit EDIT or something, find the pack you want and use any phone looking icon for it

You are correct sir! I had tried EDIT and replacing with a bitmap but I hadn't seen that you could swipe right and choose from the installed icon themes. Thanks!
