4.4.3 problems. Post them here

It's really strange how some people are saying battery life is worse. Mine is running perfectly so far and with very good idle drain.

Every user uses his/her phone with different configuration . Some of them use auto brightness and some of them use full . If you watching videos all the you probably will have some battery drainning . Depends on your needs . Anyway , I hope the new update will improve the battery life cuz now It's hardly alive in the end of the day .

I suspect this is the reason that 4.4.3 took so long to release. I wonder, if 4.5 wasn't going to be announced next week, if 4.4.3 would have been released.

My hope is that 4.5 is released soon and is more stable -- at least from the standpoint that it is a much smoother install for most.

Is 4.5 likely to be coming soon? If so, I think I'll wait for that but, again, I'll give it some time to see what other people think of it.

As near as I can tell, 4.5 is a rumor at this point in time. It could be announced at I/O, but it could easily be November before we see it. I wouldn't count anything said before I/O as reliable.

There have been quite a few rumors that Android 4.5, or even 5.0, will be announced at Google I/O. As Hook stated, it is all rumor at this point, and we will likely only know for sure during the Keynote of the I/O conference.

If a new version of Android is announced, it will likely be rolled out beginning in early to mid-July.

There have been a number of problems with 4.4.3 posted on here.

Are there any specific improvements that have been found by those who have installed 4.4.3?

Camera improvements, ART improvements, no more signal dropout, better battery life (for me).

I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of off the top of my head. There were over 7,000 changes to the code between 4.4.2 and 4.4.3.

It really squashed a lot of bugs.

If you're afraid of getting bugs because of something funky going on during the OTA update, just back everything up and use the factory image.

This whole thread reminds me of a lesson we can all learn. When events happen, we tend to pick those events more often than not to be the cause of a new problem we are faced with. Not always understanding how outside factors can be a significant contributor.

I was just a a friends house over the weekend, I had like super high wakelocks happening over wifi that killed my battery. Thought it had something to do with an app that I downloaded, instead it had to do with the network I was on.... see the article below

Getting rid of wlan_rx_wake wakelocks | Google Nexus 5 | xda-developers

Just something to think about.

Camera bug still exists in this update, I am sad to say. My battery life appears to be slightly worse as well (and no I am not using my phone any differently than I did before I updated)
+1. i unfortunately have the same issue.
along with even more minor issues i've experienced that i never encountered, this update is certainly worse than what i previously had with 4.4.2.

sucks.
and to the guy saying some users don't know how to use android, well some do.

I even factory reset my phone before i updated (like i do all my devices). yet i still get these little glitchy annoyances.

I upgraded by OS to 4.4.3 and I must say I 'm happy with it . Battery life was improved. Nothing problematic so far . I don't like the new dailer ...
