4 front buttons - build quality?

Hey all,

I've had my Legend just over 6 days now, must say the handset is very solid and built very well.

Only reservations are around the four front black buttons...

All Legends I saw in the shop had obviously been subject to lots of prodding from potential customers and all 4 buttons [ok ok there are 3 actual/physical buttons] lost their solid 'click' feel and had worked their way loose.

I'm posting because my HOME button seems to have worked its way a tiny tiny bit loose. Not enough to send it back or anything, but now, if I tap it with my finger, there is slight movement, it rocks side to side and can now hear a little clicky sound ...without actually pressing the button....this is after 6 days

Anyone else experienced similar issues?

Hey C,

I've had my legend for a month or so and my home button is a little wobbly but it isn't anything that concerns me....yet!

The other buttons are nice and solid so its just sods law that the most used one is loose.

If yours is hampering its use you should take it back the shop.

I can live with my one.

Thanks for the responses,

@anandroiduser - thanks for the link, seems as though I've kind of created a duplicate post, oops! I should've known better, especially as I posted in your linked thread!! :o

So it seems as though I'm not the only one with concerns... no, reservations about the buttons. As Mr.Derringer mentioned, its sods law that it has to be the most used button too!

For what its worth, my power button seems fine but as there is no 'click' I guess I can envisage it sinking at some point...

@c_man Yes.. you did. I didn't even recognise you posted in the linked thread!! LOL. Shameee on you! :)

I'm... getting used to the power button's sink.. not worrying about it as much now. Plus, just today I got my new silicon case and screen protector, so I'm busy playing with these. (Btw, it is SUCH A PAIN applying this protector without getting dust on it. And once the dust is there... it seems almost impossible to get it off! The bubbles it forms stick out like a sore thumb!)
