Help 4g Adhesive Tape & Cracked Screen

I just replaced my LCD and digitizer on my Evo 4g, but I guess I didnt pay enough attention to the parts . My question is, where does the adhesive tape go? in other words, is it between the back of the mother board and the LCD, or somewhere between the LCD and digitizer, or where????

If it goes between the lcd and digitizer, wont the tape show?

Please help!! TIA

O man, I'm not 100% sure on this one. I've never replaced a screen before.
I'll see if I can find some info anywhere and get back to you. I'm currently on my phone, so please bear with me, I'm sorry.

EDIT:
I believe the adhesive tape is for behind the LCD screen, and not for in between the LCD and digitizer. I would think there would be a small adhesive strip for inbetween the digitizer and the LCD screen. I looked for any info but I'm still not 100% sure. Didn't the replacement parts come with directions?
