Help 4G connection problems a software issue?

Well even after the SID number change I am still getting very spotty 4G even though the coverage map & metropcs rep says I'm in their best coverage. How ever after updating the SID number I can now get 4G inside my house where as before I did not get 4G at all inside the house and was lucky to hold 1x.

So here the thing, when at home in metros so called best coverage we will start with 4G. Then it drops to 1x for a while then back to 4G. Then right to no data then to 1xD then to 1x then pop in and out of 4G. With in that time frame the phones bars wil bounce up and down from 3 bars to 1 to none then to 2 and so on up and down.

But the funny thing is if I go even 2 blocks from home signal will hold at 3 bars+ and 4G is continuos.

So is this a network issue or does it seem to be a phone software issue?

well if it was a software issue, it would stay the same. the fact that you can move 2 blocks and have the problem go away is telling you its a network issure.

That's what I was thinking. With my first indulge I was having the same issues and they replaced the phone I thought it went away but I was wrong. A month later an this second indulge seems to be doing the same thing the first is. I'm thinking of switching to tmobile though. They have coverage at my work where as mobile doesn't have 4G coverage there. But I'm not to concernedabout 4G at work cause the 1x will still play pandora and other streaming players on the indulge.
