4g destroying battery life???

leapps

[/B]There is an app called 2x battery battery saver. It will automatically cut off your 4g while you're not using your data. When your screen is off. But you have to use version 1.43. It is the only 1 that works when you're not using the pro version. Your data connection will turn off. But you will still be able to get text messages. But maybe not MMS. But it saves a lot of battery life.! Data connection automatically turns back on when you turn your screen on. You can buy a newer version but you have to pay for it to turn on and off your data.

I think you can actually do that your self without an app

A few of these type Apps for me always take awhile to get woken up and redatafied.

Metro's data ain't 'xactly a well oiled nuclear reactor of consistency as it is Now, the last thing I want to do is muck More with it's connect/disconnect abilities.

'sides, I don't Need more juice with the Spirit as it is now.

For me it was WAY better to simply turn off 4G from the "Hidden" menu (tutorial sticky).

Here in Florida, 3G EV is fast enough to use Tunein Radio, Pandora, and Iheart Radio all day long without cutoffs, which is what I use the most.

And yes, my battery life improved a LOT turning 4G off for good and only using 3G EV

If I'm going out for a long day, turning off 4G is one of the first things I do. It will pretty much double my battery life.
