Help 4g icon but only using hspa not hspa+?

Hello. I've be hanging terrible data speeds lately in Philadelphia ( less than 1mbps). They are usually around 5mbps. I've noticed that my network type is hspa in the settings isn't that 3g? I'm using the T-Mobile l9 with metropcs if that helps.

Look at what's happened to me in new york . I made a thread about it. I am getting less than 500kbps.

Should my mobile network say hspa+ since I'm getting the 4g icon? Btw I replied in your thread. Probably just have to wait a few days and see if it improves

I went outside yesterday to try and see if it fixes anything, i went to the corner on the block I live in and on a app called OpenSignal, it went from 4g to 3g, then back to 4g, and when I went to watch a video on facebook I believe, the 4g icon turned into 3g on the video, but it still didn't make it much faster or anything.

mine says hspa also, I don't think it's supposed to say hspa+ even though technically it is. I'm at -98dbm and just got 6mbps dl at testmy.net
