4G LTE in Austin!

Just had to post -- I saw my DC was running 4G this morning! I didn't even know it was going live yet -- the latest announcement said it will start in Austin on September 15th.

I can't believe it's taken this long for 4G to arrive in Austin...

I'm here in Round Rock for training this week, and was also amazed to see 4G pop up on my TB this AM. I was like "wh00t"

When I was here last month, it was 3G only. Going to do a speed test before it gets too bodged down...

I just had it pop up this morning. Speedtest.net shows a high of 8.88Mbps down and 4.33Mbps up with a 167ms ping.

The lowest speeds I've gotten so far are 6.29Mbps down and 3.63Mbps up with a 159ms ping.

I'm off of Oak Knoll at 183 (just north of Duval)
