4G/LTE version without sim card

Hello

I'm looking at getting the sheild tablet and would like to go for the 32GB version, however this means it comes as the 4G/LTE variety and I have no intention of getting a sim card for it. Will it constantly want me to put one in it? Is there anything that might not work?

I'm just worried I'll be left with a constant notification or reminder every 5 mins that its missing its sim card...

Though mine isn't set to arrive until tomorrow, I can't imagine that's the case.
