4G phone as home broadband replacement

Since I live by myself, I am trying to use a 4G phone as a wifi hub for my home pc, and get rid of my current cable connection. I am told* that there is an unlimited 4G plan offered by Verizon (not sure about price). I am also looking at Clearwire, if the modem is small enough to slip into my wallet.

Anyone has experiences to share?

not sure if there is a unlimited tether plans for verizon, i wouldnt think there is considering they are doing away with unlimited plans, you would have to have been grandfathered in.

Not anymore. They used to have it and old subscribers were grandfathered in but if you're a new subscriber, then you only have tiered data.
