I bought the LG Spectrum a few months ago and I'm not too happy with it. I am looking to sell/trade for another phone.

What I Love about the Spectrum:
-blazing fast
-best screen I've ever seen (Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr/RazrMAXX look dim by comparison, even at full brightness)
-No capacitive search button (I never used it)
-It's quite good looking, not super heavy or super light and flimsy
-Very customizable

What I hate about the Spectrum:
-NO LED notification light!!! This is unacceptable.
-Truly hideous lock screen clock font (I replaced it with Widget Locker)
-Not a great stock keyboard (I bought SwiftKey and love it)
-Email doesn't seem to work lately.
-Yahoo app downloads all conversations held in the inbox chat app as new mail, whereas in the PC version, chat convos are in a separate folder. This creates hundreds of "new messages" every day
-You can't take pictures while talking!!
-Stupid charging port placement. The bottom of the phone is the best place for the charging port IMHO.

What I'm looking for in a phone:
-Bright screen
-Good haptic feedback (RazrMAXX has the best haptic feedback but the screen seems so dim!)
-Decent camera, doesn't need to be anything fancy but it does need to work while i'm on the phone!
-LED notification light (must have)
-Reasonably fast, 4g capable
-nice metal bits on the sides of the phone, not cheap looking plain black like the Droid X
-no hunchback like the Droid X and Droid Razr
-Not an HTC. I had the thunderbolt and it constantly sent texts to the wrong people. This caused me so much grief that I never want an HTC product again.
-Decent battery life

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Note - Yes, I have tried the No LED app. It was ugly and it ran down my battery.

Welcome Slaughter!
The RazrMaxx is a great phone. I love my Nexus and know that it's extremely customizable and think the screen is plenty bright at ~40% brightness. I know you said you can't do another HTC, but I'd still wait to see how the Incredible LTE compares. Right now, any of those options (and yes, incl. the new iPhone) are great phones.

If you just care about good speed, 4G, and long battery life. I say go with the Razr Maxx. 4G will be a heavy hit on the battery. Or go with a 4G phone that has a removable battery so you can carry a backup just in case.

According to your thread title I am assuming that4G is a must so I just wanted to point out that the iPhone 4S is not 4G.
