4G Speeds

Has metroPCS started they're 4G Upgrade yet? I checked my speeds tonight and was amazed to see 6.56 Mbps down & 7.26 Mbps up.

Where were you located when doing these tests. I see everyone's speed getting faster while mine is still considered slow... :(

All the articles have said that metro is supposed to take advantage of the full 10mhz spectrum. Now you will only see these speeds if your in the city and also have really good coverage in your area. Outside the city will be a little above half of those speeds. This is based on speeds before where the city would typically Max out at 5-6 and outside the city would be 1.3-3. So with the new adjustments the city should see 8-10 and outside the city should be 4-6.

This is only a guess of what metro has said and what people have been saying they have been getting so don't hold me to this.
