4g vs 3g

What stuff is people downloading that 4G comes in handy. I seriously want to know. I have had the Razr Maxx since day 1. We have a good 4G signal and a really good 3G signal. I guess for what I use my phone for I am not seeing the luxuary of why 4G is cool. I open my web browser on 3G and boom, the page I want is there. I do the same on 4G and boom, it is there. Yeah, I guess the 4G loaded a millisecond quicker but the 3G was blazing fast as well. Same with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. When I would wireless teather my laptop, 3G is faster than 4G on the Macbook. Haven't figured that one out. Now, I leave my Maxx on 4G, maybe 12-14 hour battery life with decent use. On 3G, I charge like every 3 days or so.

Exactly...point I was trying to make!!

Wrong. Use Facebook on 3g ughhh. Even my games run faster on 4g on my sprint Gnex

Well to be fair, sprint 3G is notoriously slower than vzw 3G. :p

As far as games running faster... Processor speed doesn't depend on network speed. That being said, if the game uses data then perhaps that could make some sense. :)

Downloading big flies. Albums,movies,etc. etc.
Try downloading an entire movie on 3g then try it on LTE and tell me 3g is good enough. I agree you don't need it for general browsing and such but having LTE most definitely has it's advantages.
