Does anyone know if the Mesmerize will be able to update to 4G?

No, it won't.

I can't see USCC upgrading their towers to 4G any time soon. They still have some areas of coverage that aren't up to 3G standards.

Don't get me wrong, I wish they would.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to see USCC roll out 4G for at least a year, and even then, my guess is that it would be limited to bigger cities like Chicago. I don't expect it in my neck of the woods (Des Moines, Iowa) for at least a couple of years.

Thats one thing I like about USCC's belief project. By the time I care about whether or not there is a 4G phone I can actually use, I should be able to upgrade to it without a hassle.

And if you don't have the points available, you can puchase more. That's what I had to do to get my Mezmerize for free.
