5.0.1 Update

I was good all the way, until i tried to flash..."fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-hammerhead-hhz12d" error: cannot load bootloader-hammerhead-hhz12d : no such file.

Ok, firstly which files did you flash?

Secondly, where did the "bootloader-hammerhead-hhz12d" come from?

O.K. I flashed boot.img, cache.img, recovery.img, and system.img. What's next?:p

I don't think I did, I never flashed the bootloader image, I only flashed boot.img, cache.img, recovery.img and system.img.

I did. The bootloader and boot.img aren't the same thing. You probably will be okay not flashing the bootloader, but I like to keep my versions current.

Cool, I figured boot.img was different from the actual bootloader. If you flash the new bootloader do you need to unlock it again?

I did a factory reset with 5.0.1 and my phone if still laggy! I have to reset it like twice a day. Doesn't run nearly as smooth as KitKat.

I've only had mine running for about six hours, but so far it's smooth as butter. I really like the lockscreen notifications.:p

Just got my update a few minutes ago. I'm hoping it'll address some of the poor battery performance issues I've been having.

I'm curious how the update affected your battery issues - if at all. Prior to the update I was getting at least 4 days out of my battery. I use my Nexus mainly for phone calls. Now I am not even getting 24 hours out of it before the battery needs charging. So I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I get a lot less usable time on lte. I could scrape 4 hours of screen on lte before the update to Lollipop, but now I can barely make it to 3. Wifi usage seems about the same.

Is anyone else still having the front camera access issues? If not, I'm going to consider RMA'ing my device but if so then I'll assume (and I think this is the case) it's a software bug that needs fixing.

Mine still running smooth since before Christmas. My friend, he has the N6, says i should keep the N5, and trade my LG G2 back to AT&T, for the N6. I have until June to make up my mind. Anyone have any feedback on that? Thanks.:p
