Help 5.1.1 concerns

Hi there, struggling to find a complete list of changes that came with this upgrade for the Note 4, but a couple of things I've observed and keen to know what others have experienced:
* Change in SD card encryption: my work enforces encryption, in 5.0.1 I had the option not to encrypt media files on the SD card, but 5.1.1 has removed that choice - this is a pain for a variety of reasons, why did they do this?
* Notifications: I believe Samsung has done something specific but I was using an app to give me control over notifications, that app no longer works and now I just get a flashing dim blue light for any notification which is useless. Again, why mess with what was working and does anyone know what Samsung were trying to "improve" with this change?
* On a positive, it does seem quicker, especially when switching between active apps

I'm still discovering so I'll update as I find more, feel free to add your own observations as you find them

Pete

I have the factory unlocked phone and have not been given the option of upgrading to 5.1.1, someone said that Samsung are skipping this on the factory unlocked UK version and going straight to Android 6.0, we'll see. Phil

I flashed 5.1.1 to mine at the weekend, not a lot different to 5.0.1, noticeable to me anyway. I used odin so it should still get updates when they are released.
Main reason I updated was because I was recently on holiday and my phone couldn't see the hotel wifi point, every one else's could, will have to wait until next time I'm there to see if that works lol.
