Root 5 hours of not using the phone, makes the battery flat

The battery gets flat very quickly, and charging takes a whole night.

I have got the HTC M8 with ARHD 41.

Where to begin to troubleshoot?

Wakelock Detector from the Play Store.

Charge, then off charger, leave screen off for half hour or hour.

See what kept your phone awake with the screen off.
