So I'm thinking about rooting my Droid 2 and I'm just curious about all of the advantages that there are to rooting.

What are 5 good reasons to root a phone?

Also, seeing as how rooting a phone voids the warranty, is there a way to restore the phone to factory settings once it has been rooted? I'm a noob about this and I just want to be knowledgeable about it before I go follow through on rooting.
