Bout ready to toss this phone...could be just me with issue but id like to share anyways...ok since i had the update notice it pops up randomly and i keep clicking remind later cool no big deal right....yeah well heres the thing it is chewing through my data plan like crazy im assuming it keeps re-downloading which is bs. i am adding pictures showing the usage over last 2 days im lost for words...how can i disable this dang update to stop using data i am now capped rest month..i have frozen anything and everything with words update in it. had to disable data all day because over night it used 4gb downloading android os.

Swipe down from your notifications, press and hold on the update notification till it highlights. Press again and it will take you to another screen. On there you can turn off the notification and it won't download nor notify you any more. You need to let it finish downloading first though. Basically your turning off notifications from google play services.
Let it download first thou.

not sure what you mean...oh btw the update never shows up anymore just uses data in background
