A lot of them will support 64 gig cards

I have a 64 gb sdxc card. It has worked in every android handset I've tried (LG optimus, LG optimus slider, Motorola Triumph, hTC evo v-4g, hTC one-v, & hTC one-sv).

The sdxc spec allows for devices up to 2000 gb. Seems like I read somewhere that the Android OS supports the full spec.

I stumbled onto the info while I searched for a 128 gb micro sdxc drive--which doesn't seem to exist yet. Seems non - micro sdxc ones exist...Someone on xda-dev has one (128 gb sdxc chip) with an adapter soldered on that plugs into the micro slot on his phone & it works fine...

That's insane

Lol. No doubt man. THAT is freaking crazy! If you find the link to the post, I'd appreciate it if you would post it. I would like to read about that bad boy.

I know how its done, I seen a guy do it once. Just not with that big of a card.

I recently re-ripped my music CD collection to a loss-less format. Needing ~70 GiB, so the 64 gb is just not enough...

I switched up to an S3 recently too, nice! I'm not sure I'd need 128 gigs though lol

Nice huh? :D I haven't had one dropped call since switching over. Looks like I made a good decision. Ended up saving $50 too. Radio Shack has them on sale right now.

One thing's for sure though, the SV is a nice phone. If I didn't live so far out in the desert I would have stayed with it. I just have to have a phone that gets signal. The extra $100 sure didn't feel good shelling out either but at least I've got signal now. When it all boils down to it, that's what matters.

Even with that larger storage setup, I still wouldn't have near enough for my music collection. I usually just carry 6 or 7 gigs with me. When I get tired of those, I just swap out my tunes. I'm only running a class 10, 16 gb card right now but it's working fine for what I need it for. The S3 has a good bit of internal storage too. That helps for sure.

I know this is off subject but why wouldn't you rip in 320 kbps and upload it to Google Play Music and stream it when you need it? I got 13,000 songs on the cloud.

Ya know, I've never even used Google Play Music. Matter of fact, I haven't even looked at it. Since you've mentioned it now, I may just have to take a look at it and see what's up. Playing music + internet probably = more battery usage. Just a thought. :D
