It is quite likely to be a compatibility issue. I recall when 4GB SD's wouldn't work in "older" devices like my not-so-old digital camera. 2GB was the max because of the way it was formatted. Now the product manufacturers are saying the same thing about the 64GB and micro-64GB devices. The chip works fine. The issue is will it work in your stuff or do you have to get new stuff.I definitely hope so. Not sure if anything special had to be done when 32's hit the market....

I'll reply incase anyone finds this thread with the same question.
It does work in Motorola Bionic. If one does buy this 64 gig card, it give an error that the card is damaged. Just go into settings and format the card and it should be recognized after the formatting.
That's how it worked for me.![]()
Interesting thread. It is possible to use a 64 GB microSD card on an Android device. I actually just recently posted a short video on YouTube that shows how to do it. I will post it in another response.Hey people, I am just wanting some opinions from those clever people out there regarding this new microSD card that is about to launch.
I am currently using an HTC Legend with a 32gb (Class 10) Lexar MicroSD card in it and it works just fine... There are a lot of posts elsewhere that say that these smart phones will not cope with more than 16gb microSD cards and thus will not put up with 64gb. As my little Legend can cope with 32gb should it be able to handle the 64gb when it arrives on sale?
thanks so much for your time![]()
I want a 64gb Micro SD Class 10 Card
& what brand is Fastest ?
is there a Class 12
Anyone tested this sucker with a HTC Thunderbolt?
Ok, my question is, how hard is it to then transfer the contents of your old Thunderbolt's micro SD card to the new? And does it acclimatize itself easily enough?
