64GB MicroSD card issue

Hello, I have recently purchased a 64GB microSD card in hopes of using it in my Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6. I have seen people do it before with my same device. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I will sometimes format it in the device and it will register as a 64GB card with 59GB of usable storage and whatnot. But when I go to power off the device/restart it, it immediately shows it as a broken microSD card again. I have tried to format it in the computer as all formats. All advice is extremely appreciated. Thanks!

If you seeking to put higher cards this come with trial and error so if u destroy the device in any way shape or form your on your own. In order to get this to work requires you to alter a file . one shot deal if u mess up destroyed cause this device and any other android needs SD card to store temporary cache

According to contributors to this XDA thread, 64GB SDXC microSD cards will work fine with the GP 3.6 provided:

(a) they are formatted FAT32 by the device
(b) they aren't Sandisk Class 10 cards; Class 6 ones are okay, as are Class 10 cards from other manufacturers.
