Help 64GB Samsung Micro SD in Z1

Need some help!

Purchased a Samsung 64GB micro Sd for my Z1 running 4.4.4

I have copied some music from the PC to the card via a USB cable and the folder and I get the message ' cannot play the file'. When I use a file manager to view the folder there but empty!

When I take the card out, put into an adaptor and put into the PC, the files copy across and I can play and see them!

The Z1 can see the card and the full capacity of nearly 64gb.

Do I need to reformat the card?
If so on my phone or PC?
If the PC which format do I use?

Any advice would be great!

What file system is the card formatted as? I was always under the impression FAT32 was best.

Formatted on the phone.
Plugged card into the usb converter then into PC.

Got the card from Ebay but is a Samsung branded card.

Could it be that my PC only has USB 1 spec ports?

Run an app on your PC called H2Testw, that should tell you if there's something wrong with the card.

There are a lot of fakes kicking about on eBay, so you may well have been duped
