7.7 coming to Verizon

What a shame, after all this wait it looks like you MUST get it with a 2 year contract. I haven't seen Verizon do that before.

Oh well, on to the Wifi version. I only wanted an option to activate for a given month, not a mandatory 2-year stint. Too bad.

Just so everyone knows, you CAN get the 7.7 from Verizon off contract. The downside? $699.

But still a better option if you don't plan on using 4G very much.
